“We are appalled by the anti-immigrant rhetoric of the current American Administration,” said Sergio García Sánchez, the Spanish artist who drew the cover for the July 28, 2025, issue, an image colored by his fellow-artist and wife, Lola Moral. “In Spain, we are also a country of immigrants—it’s the source of our strength,” García Sánchez continued. “But, unfortunately, xenophobia is now a global phenomenon affecting not only the U.S. but also Europe.”
