Victoria Beckham recently visited Paris not only for Haute Couture Week, but also to receive an honorary distinction from the French Ministry of Culture – the title of Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters. This title, which is awarded to individuals for a significant contribution to the cultural life of France, Victoria received for her influence on the fashion and entertainment industries. Since 2022, the designer has been presenting collections of her eponymous brand in Paris, which has strengthened her connection with the French fashion scene. And it was after the official ceremony of presenting the distinction that Beckham was spotted in a look that inspires the fashionable spring, which is only a few weeks away.

So, Victoria Beckham showed off a steel-blue suit look in the masculine aesthetic of her own brand: a loose-fitting single-breasted blazer and wide, high-waisted trousers, elongated enough to almost completely cover her shoes. The look was completed with the iconic Birkin bag from Hermès.
On Victoria's hand, she carries a sparkling burgundy crocodile-skin Birkin with palladium hardware. This is how Hermès bags seem to be worn these days: with the buckle undone and a slight negligence, as if it were a regular shopper. This gesture became a noticeable stylistic trend on the spring-summer 2026 runways, where models paraded with luxurious bags that were open to highlight the linings and interior trim. The deep, rich burgundy shade of Victoria's bag perfectly matched the sophisticated steel-blue tone of the suit, creating a coordinated and at the same time luxurious color dialogue.
The former Spice Girl has long been known for her love of bags, and even collects the most expensive models from leading fashion houses. Her particular passion is the Hermès Birkin, which she has in all sizes, colors and leathers. Victoria's obsession with the model began in 2004, when she invested in her first Birkin in a cognac brown shade. Back in 2009, The Guardian estimated her collection at around a hundred Birkins, and it's likely that this number has grown significantly since then.
During the same Paris trip, David Beckham also showed off his version of the iconic Hermès bag — the massive Haut à Courroies, which he wore with the clasp wide open, in full accordance with the new stylistic canons.
