This “naive” print is taking over the catwalks – and you'll definitely want to wear it

This spring, fashion suddenly takes on a sweet flavor. Bold, graphic, and a little nostalgic at the same time, cherry is the main print of the season, finally cementing the fruit trend that was already ripening in the autumn-winter 2024/2025 collections. What started as an ironic detail is now turning into a full-fledged fashion statement.

In Saint Laurent's Resort 2026 collection, cherries appear in an ultra-realistic version and adorn evening sandals and massive earrings, hinting that this season even the smallest detail has a taste of seduction. The print blooms on skirts and jackets, and in Valentino's collection it covers almost all key silhouettes. Even the iconic slip-ons, created in collaboration with Vans, combine the brand's checkerboard with a bright fruit motif.

Last year, Louis Vuitton celebrated the beginning of summer with its third collaboration with Takashi Murakami: hundreds of 3D cherries covered exclusive clothing and iconic accessories – Speedy, Alma and Side Trunk. And model Elsa Gosk is already integrating the trend into everyday life, choosing a swimsuit with a cherry print and combining it with baggy jeans and a voluminous shirt. The alternative is to bet on accessories: from shoes and jewelry to bag charms. One juicy accent – and even the simplest look will sparkle in a new way.
