Ukrainian brand Khrystyna Rachytska presented a new collection “Live” as part of Ukrainian Fashion Week, which became a visual meditation on the theme of finding light in the darkest times. “This collection was born not from an idea, but from an inner need. From experienced emotions, real facts, amidst challenges and despair… and even greater faith. From the choice to live. From the choice to create – despite everything and thanks to everything,” says designer Khrystyna Rachytska and invites you to immerse yourself in this world, where beauty and a return to your roots become a form of resistance. The show was opened by actress Solomiya Kirillova, star of the film “Pamfir”.

The Lviv brand is known primarily for its embroidery. Khrystyna Rachytska has been collecting her own collection of authentic Ukrainian embroidery for over 20 years, reviving rare techniques and motifs in the brand's collections. All products in the new Khrystyna Rachytska collection are handmade, and modern silhouettes are organically combined with traditional ornaments. “Each of our products concentrates memory, experience and continuity of generations. Natural silk has density and internal structure – it forms an image and adds a sense of togetherness. Wool is light and soft, it envelops the body, creating a feeling of protection and warmth. The combination of materials conveys integrity, inner strength and peace, which support in the modern world,” the designer adds.

The clothing collection is complemented by necklaces made of antique balamut and glass from the early 20th century. These objects carry history, remembering other hands, other moments, other generations. In a modern context, they emphasize the continuity and connection between the past and the present.

Ukrainian culture is the foundation of the Khrystyna Rachytska brand. “Research into ornaments, working with archival sources, hand embroidery, and attention to materials shape a modern form through a deep understanding of heritage. Tradition evolves with time, finding new forms in modern silhouettes,” says Rachytska. “Every detail, every silhouette, and every embroidery tells the story of a life that continues, a culture that is passed on, and a light that lives within.”
