Copenhagen Fashion Week this year was a celebration of Scandinavian design. In honor of the venue's 20th anniversary, a wide variety of brands from the region, from OperaSPORT to Henrik Vibskov, arrived in the Danish capital with new collections. Here are 4 of the top shows from Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Henrik Vibskov
Fans of Henrik Vibskov know what a place frogs occupy in the brand's work – they first appeared in his collections back in 2004. This season the frog has returned – as an indicator of the ecological state of the planet and a symbol of rebirth. The inspiration here was Henrik Vibskov's trip to the small Danish island of Avernako, known for its population of rare European fire frogs. There he discovered a species of frogs that carry each other. This is how the collection was named 'Frog Carry Frog', and the show took place at the Østre Gasværk theater – to sounds reminiscent of a rainforest, the artists carried tall ladders on their backs, gently swinging them. The main thing on the catwalk was a diverse knitwear, the color scheme of which repeated the natural color of the frogs – shades of dark green were combined with brown and beige tones.

OperaSPORT
OpéraSPORT in the new collection combined the beauty of night Venice with the work of Hans Christian Andersen, who in his novel “The Improvisator” described it as a place of contrasts, where past glory intertwines with the silence of the canals. In the collection we saw an equally poetic combination of black and white, diluted with the colors of the evening sky – pale pink or cloudy purple. One of the most interesting looks on the catwalk was demonstrated by Alana Hadid, the older sister of Bella and Gigi, who took to the catwalk in a leather blazer and skirt, complemented by a pink bag with ruffles.

Holzweiler
Holzweiler made their debut in Copenhagen 16 years ago, and for the fall-winter 2026/27 season they returned to their home city with a collection they describe as very personal, almost intimate. “Copenhagen is where our international journey began and took shape. Coming back here is more than just a show – it's a return to an important chapter in our history, reconnecting with our roots and the values that shaped Holzweiler,” commented creative director Maria Skappel Holzweiler.

Forza Collective
The Forza Collective autumn-winter 2026/27 collection reminded us that transparent textures have become a modern classic. In the new season, the brand returns them in combination with bright colors and exaggerated silhouettes. Designer Kristoffer Kongshaug was inspired by the Baroque period in European history, combining the forms characteristic of that time with the vibe of the grunge 1990s. The result is feminine, playful and carefree.
