Taylor Sheridan‘s Yellowstone sparked a completely fresh television world. The program, which initially featured Kevin Costner in the starring role, would later influence a multitude of derivative series, including the newly released Marshals. The 2026 show premiered in March and presents Luke Grimes as he reprises his role, Kayce Dutton, as he affiliates with a division of U.S. Marshals to aid in safeguarding Montana.

1883
1883 is a mini-series that trails the Duttons’ post-Civil War generation as they depart Tennessee and ultimately make their home in Montana to develop what would evolve into the family’s homestead. The show examines the group’s passage from Tennesee to Texas and then westward toward Oregon.
The series debuted in December 2021 and can be viewed on Paramount+. It’s composed of 10 episodes and stars Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Isabel May, LaMonica Garrett, Marc Rissmann, Audie Rick, Eric Nelsen, James Landry Hébert and Noah Le Gros.
1923
1923 is made up of two seasons and premiered in December 2022. Presenting some of the silver screen’s most iconic figures — Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren and Brandon Sklenar with Isabel May coming back as the narrator — the series follows a different generation of Duttons from the year 1923 amid a time of varied afflictions, including the Prohibition epoch, the arid conditions, and the commencement of the Great Depression.
1944 – Still in Development
A side project entitled 1944 was indicated to still be undergoing development. Precise story specifics were undefined, and a roster has yet to be revealed. Paramount reportedly intended to launch the program near the end of 2026.
Marshals
As previously mentioned, Marshals launched in March 2026, starring Luke as Kayce Dutton, as he joins a team of U.S. Marshals assigned to shield all individuals in Montana.
The Dutton Ranch – In Production
The Dutton Ranch was initially publicized in the middle of 2024 to feature Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser in their specific roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler.
6666 – Still in Development
6666 constitutes yet another side project rooted in the Yellowstone continuity that was reported as under construction. The series would take place in the current era at the Four Sixes Ranch in Texas, which is displayed in seasons 5 and 6 of Yellowstone.
