The cinematic rendition of Wuthering Heights, brought to you by Warner Bros. Pictures, showcases some very well-known performers, beginning with acting icon Margot Robbie. The Australian actress, whose celebrated films include The Wolf of Wall Street, I, Tonya, Mary Queen of Scots, and Barbie, is stepping into the shoes of Catherine. Joining her is co-star Jacob Elordi, recently seen as the Creature in Netflix’s Frankenstein.
Margot suggested the “fantastic” nature of the adaptation during an interview in August 2025 with Josh Horowitz.
“Just be patient,” the performer expressed in a segment of their discussion. “It’s wild. It’s superb. It’s fantastic. You’ll get a glimpse soon.”

Margot Robbie – Catherine Earnshaw
Margot embodies the character of Catherine, also referred to as “Cathy.” She is a resident of 19th-century Wuthering Heights and, in time, encounters a foundling (an abandoned youngster) by the name of Heathcliff, with whom she gradually develops affections. She is slated to wed Edgar Linton, the polar opposite of Heathcliff.
Charlotte Mellington – Young Catherine
Performer Charlotte Mellington is a rising talent! As shown on her IMDb page, Wuthering Heights marks her debut film role.
Jacob Elordi – Heathcliff
Jacob embodies Heathcliff, a role often depicted as the quintessential anguished antihero. He initially appears as a more affable, optimistic individual in his younger years, but as time advances, he is haunted by fury and envy.

Owen Cooper – Young Heathcliff
Owen Cooper is portraying the younger rendition of Heathcliff, prominently recognized for his Emmy Award-winning portrayal of Jamie Miller in Adolescence.
Hong Chau – Nelly Dean
Hong Chau takes on the character of Nelly Dean, the narrator and servant for both the Earnshaw and Linton clans at Wuthering Heights. Hong has been previously seen in the movies American Woman, Driveways, The Menu, and Showing Up.
Vy Nguyen – Young Nelly
Vy Nguyen is another fresh face to the silver screen, playing the younger version of Nelly.
Shazad Latif – Edgar Linton
Shazad Latif embodies Edgar Linton, the character Catherine is destined to marry, who is a stark contrast to Heathcliff’s persona. Shazad has been seen in television shows such as Penny Dreadful, Star Trek: Discovery, Nautilus, and Atomic.
Alison Oliver – Isabella Linton
Irish actress Alison Oliver embodies the character of Isabella Linton and is an ascending figure in the sphere of cinema and TV! She’s graced the screen in the films Saltburn and Christy, in addition to the series Conversations with Friends and Best Interests.
Martin Clunes – Mr. Earnshaw
Martin Clunes takes on the role of Mr. Earnshaw and is recognized for a diverse range of movie and TV parts, which include Men Behaving Badly, Doc Martin, and Shakespeare in Love.
Ewan Mitchell – Whip-wielding man
Ewan Mitchell‘s resume includes titles such as High Life, The Last Kingdom, World on Fire, and House of the Dragon.
