Will There Be a Season 3 of The Last Thing He Told Me?

As of the time of this article’s publishing, Apple TV has not given the series a renewal for season 3. However, admirers are remaining optimistic, especially given the show’s recognition and rapidly growing audience.

The main obstacle is that both seasons of The Last Thing He Told Me are rooted in Laura’s written works. With no announcement of a third novel, fans are curious if Apple TV is prepared to continue the show from scratch instead of having a pre-existing book as a basis.

Who Appears in The Last Thing He Told Me Cast?

The show’s core ensemble includes Jennifer Garner portraying Hannah, Angourice Rice assuming the role of Bailey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Owen, Augusto Aguilera playing Grady, Judy Greer as Quinn, and Rita Wilson stepping into the shoes of Carol.

During an exclusive discussion with Hollywood Life leading up to the show’s season 2 debut, Angourie articulated her character’s development relative to season 1, noting how she starts doubting her father, Owen, who “broke her trust.”

“Bailey is pondering, ‘How does one regain her confidence after having broken it?’” Angourie voiced. “I believe that’s quite a significant question, particularly with relatives. What transpires when that sort of assumed unwavering loyalty is challenged?”

In the meantime, Bailey’s bond with her stepmom, Hannah, has evolved to be “so powerful, so intertwined, and so reliant” over the last half-decade that she is “naturally wary of those who have betrayed her faith, given that Hannah never has,” Angourie expressed.

In a separate chat with Hollywood Life, Judy shared details regarding the difficulties of depicting her intricate character, Quinn, and making her more “real” than simply a rival.

“I feel it becomes a challenge when I simultaneously aim to anchor Quinn, and that’s merely Judy’s perspective. It’s crucial to me that this woman feels like a genuine individual,” Judy commented. “What I truly sought was a tension relating to how desperately she desired a connection with Bailey. I imagine that Quinn, in another incarnation of Owen/Ethan, Bailey/Kristen, could have played a seriously pivotal role in Bailey’s journey.”
