Why Is Supriya Ganesh, Dr. Mohan, Leaving The Pitt Cast?
Supriya hasn’t openly addressed her exit from the show before its third installment. According to a source conversant with the matter who spoke to Variety, her character’s withdrawal was a “narrative-led choice.” Given that Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center sees its share of residents arriving and departing, it’s not uncommon for one to move on.
Fans may remember scenes where other characters discuss future residencies. Dr. Mohan dedicated a portion of season 2 exploring the next stage of her medical profession after her residency at The Pitt concludes.

Noah Wyle headlines the cast of The Pitt as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch. Ayesha Harris, who plays the role of senior night shift resident Dr. Parker Ellis, has been elevated to a series regular, according to Variety.
The remainder of the season 2 ensemble comprises Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as Dana Evans, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay, Taylor Dearden as Dr. King, Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as Javadi, Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi, Shawn Hatosy as Dr. Abbot, and Ken Kirby as Dr. Shen.
