We simply wish to witness Sara Bareilles embracing courage, and indeed she is! The acclaimed singer-songwriter, aged 46, has revealed her intention to resume touring after an absence of almost ten years. Furthermore, Sara is set to release a documentary chronicling her journey toward the Good Grief Tour, alongside a brand-new album. The film is scheduled to debut at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.

In an Instagram announcement on June 3, 2026, Sara confirmed her return to the road, stating it would be “after 7 long years and what feels like several lifetimes.”

“We are embarking on the GOOD GRIEF TOUR!” she declared in her post. “I am a transformed individual since my last time on tour… thus, I am meticulously crafting this live presentation to mirror this evolution. I’ve selected my preferred, intimate performance venues to facilitate closer connection, allowing me to see, hear, converse, and share moments of joy with you. My aim is to share my narrative – the tale of my sorrow, but equally my elation, my profound affection, and my optimism, alongside my companions… and we are orchestrating an evening I trust will be unforgettable.”

Sara elaborated further in her caption: “Bring your most authentic, vulnerable selves, though I suspect you’ll still need to secure them in those transparent plastic baggies, as luxuries seem to elude us these days. 😉 By joining us, you will also be lending your support to remarkable mental health organizations that are performing life-saving work daily. The burdens we carry these days are immense. Let us navigate them together. With deepest affection and appreciation.”
