The streaming platform’s highly anticipated annual campaign has arrived, offering users a personalized recap of their music year. From total listening minutes to top artists and songs, Spotify Wrapped has once again delivered exciting insights for music lovers. Spotify shared on social media, “Spotify Wrapped is all about celebrating the fans, artists, authors, podcasters and creators who made 2024 the record-breaking, culture-making, fandom-shaking year it was. So here’s a look at this year’s top lists.”

Spotify Wrapped is traditionally released in late November or early December. This year, it became available on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

How to Access Spotify Wrapped 2024
To view your Spotify Wrapped, you’ll need a Spotify account. Once logged in, a banner reading “Your 2024 Wrapped is here” will appear on the homepage. Tap on it to explore your music trends, favorite songs, and artists.
Spotify also emphasized the importance of keeping the app updated. In a press release, they stated, “If your phone isn’t set to automatically update the app and you haven’t manually updated it in a while, you may be missing out on some pretty great features.” The press release continued, “An up-to-date app means you’re getting a fully optimized Wrapped experience. When the time comes for the big reveal of your personalized 2024 listening trends, you want to be ready.”

This year’s data revealed the top global artist on Spotify was Taylor Swift, who claimed the No. 1 spot for the second year in a row. She was followed by The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, Peso Pluma, Kanye West, Ariana Grande, and Feid in the top 10.
The most-streamed song of 2024 was “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter, while the top album went to The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology by Taylor Swift. Other notable albums included Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish, Short n’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter, and Mañana Será Bonito by Karol G.
