A charity event where stars shared their own secrets to healthy relationships
Recently, in the heart of the capital, the FROU FROU restaurant hosted a charity presentation of the book “Famous Ukrainians: Psychology of Relationships” by psychologist and media expert Olena Shershneva . In the book, the author explores the relationships of prominent Ukrainians through the prism of modern psychology — from Yaroslav the Wise and Ivan Mazepa to Lesya Ukrainka and Olena Teliga.
The purpose of the event was not only to present the book, a percentage of the sales of which is transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also to support the collection of 10 pickup trucks for the artillery reconnaissance unit of the National Guard of Ukraine. Its fighters perform combat missions on the two most difficult sections of the front: the Pokrovsky and Kupyansky directions.
Representatives of the Ukrainian media and cultural community came to the charity event: Honored Journalist of Ukraine, wife of ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Anatoly Kinakh Marina Kinakh , journalist, author and host of the YouTube channel “RAMINA” Ramina Eshakzai , lawyer, blogger, wife of host Timur Miroshnychenko Inna Miroshnychenko , businesswoman, influencer, author of the podcast “Thought of the Day” Marina Aristova , artist, author of the cover of the book “Famous Ukrainians: Psychology of Relationships” Viktoriya Kagalovska , TV presenter Vyacheslav Solomka and others. But the main guests of the evening were the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine . They presented Olena Shershneva with a thank-you note from the commander of the DAR OABr NGU and turned on a video from fellow soldiers from the front line, who thanked those present for joining the gathering.
The hosts of the event were TV presenter “Channel 24” Vladislav Novikov and the author of the book. The atmosphere of the evening was enriched by actors of the theater “Bagato galasu” Yulia Steshenko and Konstantin Karpov , who presented an emotional production based on the work of Mark Vovchek. As well as opera singer Olena Grebenyuk, who performed works from the repertoire of the legendary opera diva Solomiya Krushelnytska with musical accompaniment by pianist Dmitry Sumtsov.
Olena Shershneva read some excerpts from the book. In particular, using the example of the couple Yaroslav Mudry and his wife Iryna, she derived a formula for healthy relationships. Star guests also shared their secrets of healthy relationships.
Marina Kinakh noted: “It's not easy to combine career and personal life, but I think I've combined them. I'll give you some advice. The first is to never stop, always work and move forward. The second is to love. After all, love is the most important thing. And the third is to love yourself.”
Ramina Eshakzai spoke candidly about her own experience: “I am currently in a relationship with a military man who is constantly on the front lines. What did this relationship show me? The fact that a person can appreciate absolutely simple things, such as a smile, a compliment, a bottle of water, and what seems familiar to us – sitting in a comfortable chair in a movie theater or sleeping on a soft bed – can be just wow. And I also learned to live in the here and now. And I realized that it is worth walking away from people with whom you are uncomfortable.”
Marina Aristova emphasized the importance of self-realization: “It is important to always develop, never sacrifice yourself and your interests. I went through this, I sacrificed my career, my ambitions. And it does not lead to anything good over time. It is also important to be yourself – to realize yourself, value your life and be a Human.”
Inna Miroshnychenko , a mother of four children (two of her own and two adopted), emphasized: “For family happiness, it is important to remember that before the children appeared, at the very beginning there were two of you. And to find time to be just the two of you. In addition, my husband and I come together to solve problems and challenges. And this also brings us closer.”
The guests were treated to exquisite French delicacies from the Frou Frou restaurant and German sparkling wine Latinium, their water balance was replenished with water from the Avalon artesian well. On the eve of the presentation, the guests received gift boxes with gifts from the author of the book and partners of the event, which, in particular, included the “Cranes” jewelry from the “Love in Ukrainian” collection in collaboration with Olena Shershneva and the Ukrainian jewelry brand Agres, which debuted a week earlier in the DIIEVA brand show as part of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
The special charm, depth, and identity of the event were added by the craftswoman of the Tea Rose company, led by their owner Maria Bulka – a florist, decorator, entrepreneur, and author of master classes and meditative practices with flowers that touch the heart. Jugs with wheat and cereals, a mirror as a portal between centuries – all this contributed to a deeper immersion in the history of our country.
