In an effort to uphold appearances, he initiates thievery from the affluent individuals in his circle—under the assumption that they won’t detect the vanishing of their abundance.
Tropper initially envisioned the series as a witty exploration of a man’s struggle in middle age, yet disclosed to Esquire that the narrative develops in season 2. “Season 2 extends beyond that. It represents a more profound study of impermanence,” he conveyed. “There’s a notable bond connecting these feelings of looming mortality and the keenness to steer one’s course, recognizing the finite nature of available time.”

Munn portrays Samantha Levitt, among the wealthy characters in Coop’s world whose path crosses with his crumbling reality.
