We were all aware that Euphoria would reach its conclusion on a dramatic note, but the season 3 finale truly shattered hearts. Following the demise of a few characters earlier in the season, the final episode culminated with the death of one significant figure.

Which Characters Perish in Euphoria Season 3?

By now, most viewers should be aware that a considerable number of major characters meet their end in season 3. These include Laurie (Martha Kelly), G (Marshawn Lynch), Alamo Brown (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), and Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi). Nate’s departure, naturally, brought satisfaction to many viewers, especially since Elordi himself had conceded that he anticipated it.

In the season 3 finale, Rue Bennett (Zendaya) succumbs after inadvertently consuming fentanyl.

How Does Rue Meet Her End in the Euphoria Season 3 Finale?

Rue’s demise unfolds gradually for the audience. After evading Laurie’s associates, Rue and G make their escape, and Alamo rewards her with narcotics and currency as his “employee of the year.” Upon examining her injuries post-lazoing, Alamo offers Rue a Percocet, advising her that it’s solely for her “physical discomfort, not that stuff inside your head.”

While Rue is conversing with Ali (Colman Domingo), she becomes agitated upon witnessing a news broadcast detailing Fezco’s (Angus Cloud) prison break. She attempts to locate him and breaches a police cordon at her residence, only to encounter her estranged mother, Leslie (Nika King). The two share an embrace, but regrettably, this is merely a figment of Rue’s imagination.

Subsequently, Ali discovers Rue deceased on the sofa, surrounded by the pills that are identified as fentanyl.

What Becomes of Cassie in Euphoria?

Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) mourns the loss of her late husband, Nate, and directs her energy toward her career as an OnlyFans content creator. She keeps the specifics of Nate’s supposed “disappearance” private, though viewers are aware that Cassie is not being truthful.

What Transpires with Maddy in Euphoria?

Regarding Maddy (Alexa Demie), she resides with Cassie, and they collaborate to establish an OnlyFans content creation venture. Similar to Cassie, Maddy also refrains from discussing Nate’s grim demise.
