With its initial theatrical release in 2018, A Quiet Place unveiled a unique brand of terror to devotees of the horror genre. As the franchise helmed by John Krasinski has broadened to include a follow-up and a preceding narrative, the actor-director-writer-producer declared that the third installment will commence filming this year!
“So fortunate to be involved in this A Quiet Place Family… both familiar and new faces!” Krasinski expressed via a social media update in March of 2026, showcasing screenplays bearing the names of each actor. “Let’s do this!”
Emily Blunt, Krasinski’s spouse, spearheads the saga subsequent to the demise of his character in the initial motion picture.

A Quiet Place 3 Release Date
The third A Quiet Place film is slated for theatrical distribution on July 30, 2027. Krasinski affirmed this launch date through his social media announcement in March 2026.
In an earlier Instagram post from 2025, Krasinski hinted toward a July 9, 2027, debut for the third chapter, though it seems the premiere has experienced a minor delay.
Who Will Be in the Quiet Place 3 Cast?
As gleaned from Krasinski’s announcement on social media, the core ensemble of A Quiet Place Part III will include Emily, Cillian Murphy, Katy O’Brian, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Jack O’Connell, and Jason Clarke.
Emily will be stepping back into her role as Evelyn, the Abbott family’s mother figure, Cillian is set to reprise his character as Emmett, Simmonds is returning as Regan, Evelyn’s daughter, and Jupe will once again play Marcus, Evelyn’s son.

What Happened at the End of A Quiet Place 2?
A Quiet Place Part II concluded with Regan (Simmonds) using her cochlear device, linked to a radio station’s microphone, to enable other existing people to repel the fierce extraterrestrials. The ending of the second movie gives a sign of hope for mankind when a younger survivor discovered ways of retaliation.
Regan’s place in the series has been demonstrated again, implying she is the key component in giving back control of Earth to people.
