Amanda Seyfried might have foreseen her 2026 Oscars exclusion in an interview before the nominations release in January 2026.
“Do you recall who triumphed during the last ten years? The triumph isn’t the core element. The nomination is,” Amanda conveyed to The New Yorker at the start of that month. “It truly pushes you onward. That’s for certain. Now, do I require one in a week or two or whenever? No, absolutely not. Would it be marvelous? Naturally, it would, for a myriad of reasons. However, it isn’t critical. An actor’s enduring career is structured.”
