It’s been almost a decade since Donald Trump Jr. and his former spouse, Vanessa Trump, went their separate ways, but they have continued to be committed co-parents to their five offspring. Subsequent to their separation in 2018, Vanessa and Don Jr. put out a mutual announcement, conveying the “tremendous regard” they held for one another while promising to rear their children together.
“Following 12 years of matrimony, we have concluded to head in divergent directions,” Vanessa and Don Jr. expressed, as reported by PEOPLE. “We will perpetually possess immense respect for each other and our respective families. Together, we have five lovely children, and they stay our foremost concern. We kindly request your discretion during this period.”

Vanessa and Don Jr. initially crossed paths at a fashion presentation in 2003, after being acquainted by his father, Donald Trump Sr. In 2005, Don Jr. famously asked Vanessa for her hand in marriage with a $100,000 diamond ring in full view of a jewelry retailer.
In 2018, Vanessa and Don Jr. separated and finalized their divorce.

Throughout his time as Vanessa’s husband, Don Jr. became the subject of allegations of infidelity. Numerous media sources indicated claims that he purportedly had a romantic liaison with Aubrey O’Day in 2011, though Don Jr. has never made any public statements concerning these allegations.
