Taylor Lautner is soon to be a father! The Twilight alum tied the knot with his spouse, social media personality and licensed nurse Tay Dome, in 2022 at a winery in Robles, California. And now, nearly four years into their marriage, the couple is anticipating their first child, whom they revealed will be a daughter.
“What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?” the pair captioned a March 2026 Instagram post, showcasing images of themselves in a meadow holding photos from Tay’s sonogram appointment.
The actor proposed to his then-girlfriend of three years on November 11, 2021. Both the actor and the influencer shared snapshots of the incredibly romantic event on Instagram, which featured rose petals, numerous candles, and even a red illuminated sign that declared “Lautner” (which Tay would soon adopt as her surname).

“11.11.2021…And just like that, all of my wishes came true,” Taylor posted on November 13, accompanied by two candid photos of the proposal. His then-fiancée also turned to social media, sharing one of the images and adding, “my absolute best friend. I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU.”
The couple initially crossed paths through Taylor’s sister, Makena Lautner , in 2018, making their relationship Instagram official in the autumn of that year. They have openly shared their romance since then, including their engagement.

Tay is a registered nurse
While Tay commands a significant following on Instagram, that’s not her sole profession! She also pursued nursing studies at the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, completing her degree in December 2019. Tay posed proudly with her companion, Marissa Civale, both adorned in their graduation regalia. “Okay last post from graduation (maybe hehe),” she began. “Want to give a special thank you to my cutie little BFF @mar_sus ! I have been so lucky to not only have you as a friend, but also getting to go through the roller coaster of Nursing School with you. I can always count on you to understand how I’m feeling & it has been so nice to have a built in study partner. I can not wait to see the nurse you become!!” Tay wrote at the time.

She also honored her fellow healthcare professionals during Nurses Week in May 2021. In one photo, she beamed in navy blue scrubs, while others depicted the realities of the job, showing her in personal protective equipment due to COVID-19. “It is officially Nurse’s Week!!…Shout out to all the men and women who have dedicated their careers to helping others, I am so honored to work along side you! If you know a nurse show them a little extra love this week,” she posted then. “To my fellow nurses, I know you don’t hear it enough so, THANK YOU! Thank you for all you have given, your drive to keep going, and your heart of gold. You are so valued by myself and many, many others,” she added.

Tay is an influencer & podcast co-host
Tay formerly showcased her fashion and lifestyle content to her followers on Instagram. In May, she gave her audience a glimpse into her attainable style by pairing a Coach Tabby bag in coral with a white ribbed turtleneck from Forever 21 and straight-leg jeans from Madewell. She completed the ensemble with a pair of Sam Edelman booties. “details,” she simply stated in the picture’s caption.
Following the launch of her podcast, “The Squeeze,” with Taylor, Tay’s follower count saw consistent growth.

Tay explicitly identifies as a “dog mama” in her social media bios and even created a separate account dedicated to her canine companions, Remi and Lily. “just two sisters taking on the world,” reads the bio for their Instagram page.

Tay is a California native
Tay was born in Los Angeles, California, on March 17, 1997. She has lived in the Southern California region her entire life, apparently growing up near Malibu. “This place. A place where I have some of my first memories, to some of my favorite memories. From having the ocean as my papa’s backyard, to date nights with the man of my dreams. This place has given me some of the most amazing memories that I’ll remember for the rest of my life,” she wrote in 2018 during the Malibu wildfires.

She loves to travel
Tay’s social media profiles are abundant with posts about her travels. In 2018, she shared a picture from a plane of her passport cover, which read, “To Travel Is To Live” — suggesting these are principles she lives by. “Oh the places we’ll go,” she commented. Other locations she has posted from include Palm Springs, San Diego, London, and New Orleans, among others. She has also documented journeys to Chicago and Napa Valley on her YouTube channel.
