Scottie and Meredith’s paths crossed during their high school years. They both studied at Highland Park High School in Texas and became romantically involved. During their college years, they went to opposing universities — Scottie attended the University of Texas, while Meredith went to Texas A&M University. Despite the distance, the pair maintained their connection and nurtured their relationship. As of May 2025, her Instagram profile remains private.
When Did Scottie Scheffler Get Married?
Scottie proposed to Meredith in June of 2020, and their wedding occurred just six months later in December of 2020. The couple celebrated with a Christmas-themed ceremony held at Arlington Hall in Dallas, Texas. They had been dating for six years prior to their marriage.

What Does Meredith Scheffler Do?
Apart from her role as Scottie’s devoted supporter, Meredith is also involved in managing an event-planning venture. Her LinkedIn profile indicates her position as Co-Founder and Vice President of With Purpose. Meredith’s responsibilities include coordinating and hosting fundraising events in Texas. She obtained an Honor’s Degree in Communications and a Business Minor from Texas A&M in 2018.
In a prior interview with Essential Golf, Meredith shared her enthusiasm for contributing to her local community.

Meredith Spent 2 Years In Zambia
After graduating college, Meredith participated in a two-year internship program located in Zambia. Despite the distance, she and Scottie maintained their connection, and he proposed not long after her return.
Scottie & Meredith Have 2 Kids Together
In May of 2024, Meredith welcomed her firstborn, a son named Bennett, with Scottie. The next year, the couple brought their son to the 2025 Masters, with the PGA star sharing the moment with his followers on Instagram. The carousel post featured several pictures of a smiling Bennett, with his dad writing, “Memories made. Safe to say I think Bennett had fun at his first par 3 contest.”

The pair’s family has continued to grow. In March 2026, Meredith gave birth to their second son, Remy. Soon after, she garnered headlines by attending the Masters in support of Scottie, bringing both of their kids to Augusta for the family-friendly Par 3 Contest.
