She commenced acting early, featuring in productions like Camp Nowhere and the Nickelodeon show The Secret World of Alex Mack before becoming one of the most well-known actresses of the 2000s.

Away from the screen, Jessica is also a loving mother. The actress has three kids — Honor, Haven and Hayes — with her former spouse Cash Warren, to whom she was married in 2008.

During a discussion with E! News at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala, Jessica asserted that her kids are always her main concern. “[My kids are] my top priority,” she stated. “So as long as they’re content and they’re well and they’re healthy, we’re all good.”

Honor Marie Warren came into the world on June 7, 2008, the firstborn of Jessica and Cash, who famously crossed paths on the set of Fantastic Four. Alba frequently showcases parts of her daughter’s life on social media, celebrating major events and successes.

In 2021, Alba shared a touching message on Instagram to commemorate Honor’s 13th birthday, jokingly mentioning that her daughter had already outgrown her.

“My teenager!!!! This is 13!” she wrote as a caption to a striking photo of Honor in jeans and a black jacket. “Yes you are much taller than I am now, which you love to mention to me every day. You have a heart of gold, you are full of kindness, you are incredibly intelligent, funny, hilarious, and so caring… I’m just so proud of you … I’m sorry that whenever I gaze at you too long, I start crying – they are tears of joy because the affection is so intense and so deep and sad that I can’t pause it.”

In January 2024, Jessica spoke openly about an occurrence she said prompted her and Honor to seek therapy jointly. “Honor was probably 11, and we were constantly bickering about trivial things. And I thought, ‘I don’t want to exist like this. This is no fun,’” she communicated to REAL SIMPLE. “I didn’t want a separation to grow between us. As her mother, when I express something, she’s going to perceive it as an argument or as me attempting to manipulate her. I desired there to be someone who could clarify matters in a manner I couldn’t.”

“What I conveyed to Honor was, ‘I want to be a superior parent to you, and this is your opportunity to essentially discuss everything that irritates you that I do,” she went on.

Jessica continued by saying it wasn’t long before she and Honor observed how therapy could be beneficial for them. “It kept me in check. Like, ‘Yeah, I definitely do that. And I’m sorry. I’m going to improve that.’ It provided her with a bit of perspective too—that I’m not the villain; I’m simply being a parent,” she revealed.

“She’ll emerge successfully from it, and I’ll still be present. I simply wanted to reach that stage, and it succeeded,” she further conceded. “And the therapist enabled me to recognize that it’s natural for children to disagree with their parents and as a parent, it’s not always about being correct or logical at that instant. I’m not going to lie, it’s a journey and I’m not flawless.”

Honor is scheduled to go to Yale University in the autumn of 2026.

Haven

Haven Garner Warren was born to Jessica and Cash on August 13, 2011, and it was evident from the start that she’s a quintessential middle child, constantly in search of attention. “My baby is savage with her transitions,” Jessica captioned a lively mother-daughter dance clip on September 12, 2020, alongside a lion emoji. Jessica shared a video compilation of her lookalike second daughter acting silly around the kitchen with a viral TikTok audio clip about second children.

“Let me tell ya’ll about that second born child,” the hilarious voiceover expresses, as Haven dances in a kitchen in an apron and making faces for the camera in the April post. “They aren’t with the bulls***. Look at your kids. That second one don’t give a s*** about nothin!”

Hayes

Hayes Alba Warren was born on December 31, 2017, making him a New Year’s Eve baby and the youngest child of Jessica Alba and Cash Warren. As of 2026, Hayes is 8 years of age. Jessica posted a sincere tribute on Instagram for his 8th birthday, sharing numerous photos and videos of her son and commending his “bravery” during a year that brought “so many changes.”

“Your abilities on the tennis court, golf course, soccer field, and handball court—which you create on every wall or back of a couch, inside or outside—are impressive to say the least,” she penned. “You take pride in being compassionate and doing well, which makes my heart fill with joy. I appreciate your quick wit with your sisters, your competitive spirit—defeating me in UNO regularly—and your desire to always engage and have a good time.”

Jessica has sometimes shared amusing stories about her son in interviews. While on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she joked that Hayes might be the most adorable of her children. “He’s more adorable than my daughters for sure,” she remarked with a laugh. “He’s the cutest of the three.”
