Benji Madden is possibly most famous as a member of Good Charlotte, but lately, he’s also garnered attention as Cameron Diaz’s spouse and the parent of their three kids. The pair, who wed in 2015, have since welcomed daughter Raddix, son Cardinal, and their youngest, Nautas, while largely shielding their family life from public view. He Established Good Charlotte Together With His Twin Brother
Benji alongside his identical twin brother, Joel Madden, created the band Good Charlotte in 1996 in Maryland. The group achieved widespread popularity in the early 2000s with popular songs like “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous,” “The Anthem,” and “Girls & Boys,” mainly coming from their landmark album The Young and the Hopeless.
The band evolved into a defining pop-punk presence of the time, with Benji functioning as guitarist and supporting vocalist while also being involved in composing songs and producing.
He’s Composed and Produced Music for Other Performers
Apart from his contributions to Good Charlotte, Benji has formed a profession as a composer and producer for different performers. He co-composed and produced songs for Hilary Duff’s 2005 compilation album Most Wanted, like “Wake Up” and “Break My Heart.”
He has additionally collaborated with bands such as 5 Seconds of Summer, adding to songs like “Amnesia,” and worked together with All Time Low, to name a few. Through the years, Madden has broadened his role in the music business through composing, producing, and guiding up-and-coming artists.

He served as a mentor/judge during the 2015-2016 season, while concurrently working with The Voice: Kids that same year. He judged along with his brother Joel, in addition to Seal and Keith Urban on the panel.
He Tied the Knot With Cameron Diaz Following a Rapid Courtship
The couple started dating in May of 2014 and got engaged right before Christmas of that year. The pair then surprised associates with an unexpected wedding on Jan. 5, 2015 at her residence in Beverly Hills. In 2016, Cameron revealed to Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM radio show that, “The initial thing I remarked when I first encountered my husband was, ‘He’s attractive.’ How come I didn’t recognize this before? We had never been in each other’s orbit.” She included that, “It was one of those instances where everyone expresses to you, ‘You just perceive when you perceive.’ I was like, ‘What does that signify?’ Oh, I comprehend. You just perceive when you perceive. Like you’re my husband,” she mentioned in regards to Benji.
His Sister-in-Law Is Nicole Richie
Benji’s sister-in-law is Nicole Richie, who is married to his twin brother, Joel. The couple got married in December 2010 and have two kids together, daughter Harlow and son Sparrow—making Benji their uncle.
