The confirmed reason for passing has been made public for Angus Cloud, the Euphoria personality, two months following his passing. Per TMZ, the departed HBO performer succumbed to a deadly mix of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, plus additional substances. His passing was designated as a chance overdose. The Alameda County Coroner communicated that the performer experienced severe poisoning due to the combination of drugs, which further comprised benzodiazepine.
Angus passed away on July 31, 2023, and his family members issued an announcement to TMZ that very day. “It is with profound sadness that we had to bid farewell to a remarkable individual today,” the announcement commenced. “As a creative, a companion, a sibling, and a child, Angus held a special place for each of us in numerous ways. He interred his father the previous week and dealt intensely with the bereavement.”
The announcement went on to say, “Our solace lies in the awareness that Angus has now been reunited with his dad, who was his greatest confidant. Angus was forthcoming regarding his struggles with mental well-being, and our aspiration is that his demise can act as a reminder to others that they are not isolated and should not confront this privately. We hope the world will recall him for his wit, mirth, and affection for all. We kindly request privacy at this juncture as we remain in the process of grappling with this overwhelming sorrow.”

Promptly following the breaking news of his passing, TMZ conveyed that his mother had dialed 911 to document a “potential overdose,” indicating that he lacked a pulse at approximately 11:30 a.m. on July 31 of that year. An insider additionally disclosed to the outlet that in the aftermath of his father’s death, Angus had combatted “intense suicidal thoughts” and had just gotten back from a journey to Ireland to commit his father’s body to the earth. Angus was subsequently declared deceased on the spot, according to the outlet. He was reportedly residing with family members in Oakland during his passing.
Angus’ portrayal of Fezco in the highly successful HBO series, Euphoria, marked his defining period as an actor.
