Aaron Rodgers has invariably existed under public scrutiny — not just for his MVP caliber performance, but additionally his notable relationships. From his legendary period with the Green Bay Packers to his brief time in New York and presently in Pittsburgh, supporters have been intensely intrigued by both his on-the-field accomplishments and personal life. In June 2025, Rodgers openly stated that he had wedded his spouse, Brittani, disclosing that the wedding occurred “a couple of months” prior.
He’s labeled her as “amazing” and suggested that their intimate life serves as a refuge from the constant media attention. Brittani favors staying out of the public view, a sharp divergence from Rodgers’ former well-known romances — featuring Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick, and Shailene Woodley.
As he concludes the NFL campaign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rodgers seems similarly intent on establishing a firm private life as he is on pursuing a different Super Bowl victory. Here is a review of his prior relationships and details regarding his recent marriage.
Destiny Newton
Aaron’s initial major romantic involvement as a celebrated sportsman was alongside his childhood closest friend who transitioned into a partner, Destiny Newton. They commenced their relationship in 2011, following being “best friends for nine years” and encountering each other “at a church camp,” according to Destiny’s mother who spoke to Radar Online nearly a decade prior. She continued, “They are extremely happy together, and our family adores him.” Their romantic history seemingly concluded in 2013 when reports of their separation began to circulate.

Although this connection remained unconfirmed, it was generally assumed that Aaron had a relationship with Gossip Girl actress Jessica Szohr. They were initially said to be together in 2011, and then it was reported that they “rekindled their romance over the holidays” around Dec. 2013-January 2014, according to Us Weekly.
Olivia Munn

One of Aaron’s most renowned partnerships was alongside The Predator actress Olivia Munn. They were romantically involved for almost three years, between 2014-2017, though not without some controversy. Aaron’s father, Ed Rodgers, revealed that his son had not communicated with their family since 2014 — the same year in which the NFL player began dating Olivia — remarking that “fame can alter circumstances” during an interview with The New York Times released in January 2017.
Olivia had been blamed as one of the reasons for this alienation. She ultimately dismissed the speculations while making an appearance on Andy Cohen‘s SiriusXM radio program in May of 2018. “On my last day while I was filming The Newsroom, I spent the entire day within my trailer simply urging [Aaron] to, like, have a sincere discussion with your folks,” Olivia recalled. Her desire was to have a reconciliation occur — which did finally happen on Aaron’s birthday in Dec. 2018.
After being informed that Aaron had reconnected with his parents, Olivia told TMZ Sports, “Oh my goodness, if that’s correct, that’s incredible. It’s been overdue for a long time.”
Danica Patrick

Following his romance with Olivia, Aaron rapidly entered another highly publicized relationship. NASCAR driver Danica Patrick verified her relationship with Aaron in January 2018 and made their initial public appearance as a couple at the Daytona 500 the subsequent month. They even went to the ESPYS together that year, where the sports personalities initially encountered each other in 2012!
Aaron and Danica’s relationship appeared impeccable: they often published cheerful couple’s images and relished romantic excursions together. One of Aaron’s most thoughtful actions involved surprising Danica with a journey to Paris for her 37th birthday in March of 2019 (as you can see above). By November 2019, they even acquired a $28 million Malibu property with cash, as reported by Variety. Nevertheless, their idealistic relationship unexpectedly reached its conclusion in July 2020, when Danica’s spokesperson verified to HollywoodLife that they’re “no longer an item.”
Shailene Woodley

Evidently, Aaron proceeded with his subsequent romantic involvement very discreetly. Merely a few days subsequent to reports that the football star was in a “long-distance relationship” with Big Little Lies actress Shailene Woodley, he unveiled that he was “engaged!” During the acceptance of his third MVP Award on the NFL Honors broadcast on Feb. 6, he contemplated the highs and lows of 2020, then stated, “I got engaged.” Toward the conclusion of the speech, he expressed his desire to “thank his fiancée” yet did not specify Shailene’s name. Days afterwards, People magazine validated that Shailene was indeed the lady who Aaron had gotten engaged to.
Leading up to the initial report regarding their relationship, which was shared by E! News, Aaron had been located in Wisconsin for the NFL season (which concluded when his Packers squad was defeated during the NFC Championship Game towards the close of January 2021). Shailene, in the meantime, was not even within the country; she had been involved in filming her new movie Misanthrope within Montreal, Canada. Despite the distance separating them, Aaron and Shailene “have met one another and been connected,” the report supplemented. “They proceed to converse and encounter each other when possible. They are each focused on their individual careers, though they furthermore allocate time towards one another.” In totality, however, the source conveyed that this rumored pair “have maintained matters private and unostentatious.”
Following less than a couple of years in each other’s company, reports emerged that the pair had ended their engagement in February 2022. Following rumors that they’d separated, it was reported that the pair had broken up on a permanent basis, according to TMZ. In spite of their parting, the duo apparently tried to iron things out. Shailene was still Aaron’s date to a wedding ceremony he was officiating in March, and a source near the NFL athlete exclusively told Hollywood Life that he was “trying to patch things up” with his ex, but the affiliation fizzled out all over again.
The pair parted ways once again in April. A source told E! News at the moment that they broke up because “everything depended on his terms and nothing was bound to change.”
Mallory Edens
During the first month of 2023, there were reports that Aaron had started a romance with Mallory Edens. Mallory (born in 1996) is the offspring of Wes Edens, a U.S. billionaire businessman who shares ownership of both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Premiere League club Aston Villa. Aaron observed his 39th birthday together with Mallory in the front row at a Bucks game, which prompted several individuals to speculate regarding a potential romantic connection. TMZ affirmed that the two were a couple.
The couple separated, though the specific timing is unknown. Rodgers verified the split during a December 2024 guest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, when he alluded to having a new partner, Brittani.
Brittani
During a December 2024 installment of The Pat McAfee Show, Aaron briefly mentioned his girlfriend’s first name, revealing that she “doesn’t have any presence on social media” and that they appreciate watching the show collectively.
“We watch the show,” Aaron shared, before adding to Pat, “She’s one of your admirers.”
“I’ll straighten everything out,” Aaron stated during the interview. “To begin with, I’m in an alternative phase of my existence, I’m 41 years old [and] I’m in a dedicated relationship. I have off-field matters occurring that require my consideration.”
The year after, Aaron shared with a group of journalists that he had gotten married! However, he avoided sharing any details regarding who his spouse is nor the length of time they have apparently been married.
In July 2025, Aaron raved to Sports Illustrated regarding how his spouse was “the correct one.”
“And the sensation of possessing that individual who unconditionally adores you privately, is incomparable, and I am with the most magnificent spouse,” Aaron remarked, before adding, “I absolutely treasure her, and I am immensely appreciative of possessing her by my side in the long run. Whenever you possess that stability and fortification behind you at your dwelling, you feel as though you’re capable of achieving anything.”
