The American Society of Perfumers announces strategic shift for next WPC

The American Society of Perfumers (ASP) has terminated its collaboration with Allured Business Media, their partners for the organization of the World Perfumery Congress (WPC) since 2012.

ASP said it is currently working on a new direction for the 2026 event, which will be hosted in the United States, with a strategic shift in the event’s management and marketing and communications partnerships.

The association expressed its gratitude to Allured Business Media for their dedication and contributions in producing WPC for more than a decade.

We are immensely thankful to Allured Business Media for their invaluable support and partnership over the years,” said Roger Howell, ASP President. “Their expertise and commitment have helped shape our events into what they are today, and we look forward to building on this strong foundation as we move into the future.

Every two years, WPC brings together fragrance industry professionals, including perfumers, manufacturers, and suppliers, to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and discuss the future of scent creation. WPC serves as a networking platform and works at advancing the art and science of perfumery on an international scale.

Further details regarding the event’s new partners and format will be shared in the coming weeks.

As we embark on this new chapter, we encourage our members and industry professionals to stay tuned for updates on what promises to be an innovative and inspiring event in 2026,” added Howell.
