I've noticed that as soon as I mention nude lipsticks, many women immediately start convincing me that such shades are not appropriate for mature women. However, it is nude that has the most attractive appearance. The thing is that for some it is associated with a light “putty”, although in reality the perfect nude lipstick simply makes ITS own lip shade a little more expressive – it returns them to their youthful natural color.
Of course, if you make a mistake with the shade, the appearance will suffer significantly.
Regarding the application process itself. Over the years, the lip contour can lose clarity, and pursed lips can appear, so a cosmetic pencil should be in every woman's arsenal.
In addition, it is worth abandoning the technique that many people love: take a rich lipstick, apply it and blend it, going beyond the contour. Of course, if you do this with a light tinting agent, just to add color to your lips, it is quite appropriate. But if the lipstick is applied in a thick layer, beauty will not come out: you will only get the effect of blurred, sloppy makeup. Accuracy is above all here.
Let's get back to the contour. With age, the shape of the lips changes due to muscle spasms, so when applying bright lipstick, it's important to adjust the line, not just blindly outline it.
Now about the choice of color. I don't know why, but most women have an inexplicable love for lilac lipsticks. In fact, the shade itself is beautiful, but it doesn't suit everyone.
The image is especially spoiled when the cold tone on the lips is combined with warm toning agents (foundation cream or powder). Yes, a few years ago this was really in fashion, but trends change, and we grow up. A woman looks much more attractive when she gently emphasizes her own beauty, and not paints a completely new face.
And finally: in addition to choosing a shade that pleases the eye and emphasizes natural beauty, it is worth remembering that the color of lipstick directly borders on tooth enamel. Therefore, after applying lipstick, be sure to smile at yourself in the mirror – and it is advisable to do this in different lighting.
