On March 25, in the heart of business Kyiv, Jan niche concept presented a renewed niche perfumery space in the Leonardo business center. This is a landmark place for the Vogue UA editorial office: this is where our offices have been located for a long time. The updated Jan niche concept presents a new look at what a modern perfume boutique in a metropolis looks like.

1. Return to the roots

JAN at Leonardo has a long history that began in 2007: that's when the Odessa niche retailer took root in the heart of Kyiv. After a large-scale renovation in 2026, the boutique returned to the concept of an open yet intimate space. Located on the second floor of a business center next to the National Opera, it has become a point of intersection of business rhythm and high perfumery art.

2. Architecture of light and silence

The new concept, developed by CEO Oleksiy Radyan, is based on a balance between the openness of the metropolis and the need for personal experience.

For the 35th anniversary of the company, JAN niche concept has rebranded (together with aprostir.marketing). The brand symbol — the butterfly — has become more sophisticated and modern. It symbolizes the transformation that the company has undergone: from the intimate showrooms of recent years to a new level of expertise and ease.

5. Main Premiere: Espresso Aoud by Roja London

The culmination of the opening was the “pre-premiere show” of the Espresso Aoud fragrance from the legendary niche perfume house Roja London.

This is the embodiment of the hottest dark gourmand trend: freshly roasted coffee beans, oud, caramelized pistachio, and spicy cinnamon create a deep and somewhat intellectual trail. Dense enough to please the owner, but transparent enough not to intrude on someone else's olfactory space.

The Jan niche concept team created an immersive Scent-to-Taste experience to introduce the fragrance and commissioned drink_buro to create a cocktail inspired by the notes of Espresso Aoud. The signature twist of an espresso martini, topped with an edible gold ice ball, was complemented by a smoky effect from a flavor blaster right before serving.
