Innovative Beauty Group boosts creative capabilities with Centdegrés acquisition

The design and branding agency, founded in 1988 by David Nitlich and Elie Papiernik, has joined the portfolio of Innovative Beauty Group (IBG), a global provider of turnkey cosmetic solutions.

Based in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and India, Centdegrés is recognized for its expertise in developing brands, products, and retail spaces for the masstige, prestige, and luxury markets. Its clients include major French and international players such as LVMH, Cartier, Lacoste, Lafuma, Dyptique, OmanLuxury, To Summer, Ojar, Le Bon Parfumeur, Kiko Milano, and Shrumei. Centdegrés thus brings complementary creative expertise to IBG, which until now has focused primarily on the discount to masstige segments.

Through this merger, the two entities aim to more effectively meet the expectations of brands and other key stakeholders in the beauty and fragrance industry, amid a surge in product launches within an increasingly competitive and globalized market.

“Over the past year, we have tested the combination of our expertise to explore strategic markets together. A real complementarity has emerged, both in terms of business lines and geographical locations,“ said Elie Papiernik, co-founder of Centdegrés. “Together, our creative strengths will shape a unified entity positioned to be the trusted partner for brands across the globe.”

The Centdegrés agencies in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong) are not included in the agreement and will continue to operate independently under the leadership of David Nitlich, while establishing a commercial and strategic partnership with IBG.

Created in 2019 by Xavier Leclerc de Hauteclocque under the aegis of Albéa, IBG is owned by Fremman Capital. The group achieved a turnover of $380 million in 2024 and currently employs around 400 people.
