Specialty chemicals and ingredients global distributer IMCD Group has opened a newly reorganized and expanded Life Science Laboratory hub in Shanghai. The new facility is dedicated to supporting innovations in pharmaceuticals, food, beauty and personal care applications.
The hub brings together three laboratories (Food & Nutrition, Pharmaceuticals, Beauty & Personal Care) to increase cross-industry exchanges and enhance IMCD’s offerings to our customers and partners. The compound is part of the East China University of Science & Technology, allowing close collaboration with the University on talent development and innovation.

IMCD boasts a global network of over 80 technical centers and laboratories that are aimed at fostering collaboration with suppliers and customers, enabling the co-creation of solutions “to address complex formulation challenges” and “to anticipate industry trends.”
