Makeup artist, beauty influencer, and entrepreneur, Huda Kattan has bought back the minority stake owned by TSG Consumer Partners in the beauty brand she founded in 2013. Huda Beauty’s founder and co-CEO thus regained full control of the brand.
TSG Consumer Partners acquired a minority stake in the company in 2017 to support its development. After an eight-year partnership, Huda Beauty is becoming a fully independent company, and one of the rare founder-fully-owned brands in the beauty space.
“Taking back full ownership of Huda Beauty is a deeply very important moment for me,” said Huda Kattan. “This brand was built on passion, creativity, and a desire to challenge the beauty industry. As we step into this new chapter, I’m more committed than ever to pushing boundaries, staying true to our roots, and showing up for our incredible community every step of the way.“
Today, Huda Kattan is at the helm the company as the sole owner, while her husband, Christopher Goncalo, serves alongside her as co-CEO, and her sister, Alya Kattan leads the brand’s Social Strategy.
The news follows Huda Kattan selling her ownership in fragrance brand Kayali to her sister Mona Kattan in February 2025.
