Just in time for the summer, Chanel has unveiled the Gabrielle Chanel Fragrance Primer. The base is designed to prepare the skin for perfume, moisturizing it while enhancing the floral notes of any of the house’s four Gabrielle Chanel Eau de Parfums.
“Just as a couturière prepares the toile that will bring her garment to life, the Fragrance Primer prepares the skin for fragrance,” said Chanel in a release.
The Fragrance Primer is designed to be applied directly to the skin, on areas where you typically wear fragrance.
“After it is allowed to rest for a moment or two, it acts like the lining of a garment, accentuating and enhancing any of the four Gabrielle Chanel fragrances you choose to layer over it,” the brand added.
The innovation is presented in a faceted glass bottle, tinted with an opalescent golden beige that recalls two of the main shades in the Chanel color vocabulary, and topped with a golden cap.
