Long, almost waist-length, deep black hair is Demi Moore's calling card. However, throughout her career, the actress has never been afraid of radical changes: let's remember the pixie in the movie “Ghost”, the ultra-short haircut in “Soldier Jane”, elegant bobs, a blonde bowl cut and the updo of the Brat Pack era.
As Elizabeth Sparkle in Substance, her super-long hair, which she constantly cares for, underscores the swirling themes of femininity, youth, and power. In real life, her extreme length seems almost sacred.

Demi Moore's new hairstyle
Moore stepped out in a striking new look at Milan Fashion Week. At Demna Gvasalia's debut show for Gucci, the actress showed off a dark, chin-length bob with a deep side part and a messy texture, with the ends curled slightly outward at the nape of the neck.

“I wanted to give Demi Moore a radical transformation for her first Gucci show,” says her long-time hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who has worked on the looks of stars like Kim Kardashian and Amal Clooney, helping them with color and length changes. “I wanted to highlight Demi’s beautiful personality through her hair… iconic, luxurious, with character, but at the same time relaxed.” The result was a 22-inch (56 cm) cut shorter than her signature style and had an almost “wet” effect thanks to the mirror-like shine.

Other elements of the look also sounded different from what we are used to seeing on Moore, who often chooses sculptural, hyper-feminine silhouettes or hyperbolized variations on the menswear theme. She came to Demna's show in an image with an emphasis on leather and tight shapes, repeating the catwalk silhouettes: a leather jacket that fit like a second skin and tight pants to match. The main accessory was her micro-chihuahua Pilaf, as well as a classic black bag and massive sunglasses. Will Demi Moore remain committed to the new haircut? The star has many more exits ahead, so we will see if her legendary dark locks will flutter again.
