Headed by Priscille Allais since 2019, and recognized as a mission-driven enterprise since late 2022, Cosmogen is actively advancing its social and environmental commitments. After obtaining the CDP/SME-B for Climate score and becoming a member of EcoDesignCloud, the mission-driven company has been rated Gold by EcoVadis, joining the top 5% of companies assessed by the organization.
Recently announced, the Ecovadis Gold score rewards Cosmogen’s efforts and actions in the four areas covered by the standard: Environment, Social and Human Rights, Ethics and Responsible Purchasing. This recognition has been reinforced by the CDP’s Climate score B, the highest score awarded in 2024, among companies that have chosen to publish their data transparently in the areas of finance, procurement, investment and policy.
An international not-for-profit organisation, the CDP manages the world’s only independent environmental information-sharing system. Through this sharing, its stated aim is to combat the environmental crisis by fuelling a transparent and balanced decision-making process that reduces the impact of actions taken, to preserve the planet for future generations.
“One of our main Brazilian customers encouraged us to participate in the CDP program, which seemed to us to be a logical and meaningful step. We thank them for that. Beyond Ecovadis Gold, these results reward the work of the entire Cosmogen team, which is committed to offering high-end, eco-responsible packaging and application solutions,” highlighted Priscille Allais.
To help them, Cosmogen’s teams, who had been trained in eco-design for over 5 years, were already using in-house Life Cycle Analysis software for brushes, to help brands make the right choices. By becoming a member of the EcoDesignCloud, the company is following in the footsteps of committed leaders in eco-design, such as L’Oréal and LVMH.
