The next edition of the Cosmed Scientific Congress will take place on September 27, 2024 in Montpellier, France, under the theme: “AI in cosmetics laboratories”</strong>.
Around 200 experts from the cosmetics industry are expected to attend the event that will highlight the latest research and innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) when applied to cosmetics research and production processes.
“The use of AI in the pharmaceutical industry has already demonstrated a 50-70% reduction in costs and development time. AI therefore presents a major challenge as well as an opportunity in a cosmetics industry where formulas often combine numerous ingredients,” said the organizers in a statement.
This edition of the Cosmed Scientific Congress “will identify the possible applications of AI in cosmetics R&D, the expected benefits for new formulations, the prerequisites and the risks,” they added.
