As the Chinese beauty market struggles to regain momentum, and as the trade war initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump continues to cast uncertainty over the global economy, the largest professional event for the cosmetics and perfume industry is set to return to Shanghai from May 12 to 14, 2025.
For its 29th edition, China Beauty Expo (CBE) will welcome more than 3,200 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and expects more than 432,000 professional visitors from over 100 countries. The trade fair will cover a total of approximately 232,000 m2 of exhibition space.
This three-day event will cover all sectors of the beauty industry—from the supply chain and professional beauty services to finished cosmetic products.
Among the 2,000 brands participating in the event, CBE will feature new product launches from major global names such as Shiseido, LG Group, Cerave, Proya Group, Chando Group, Matis, LPG, Babor, Matristar, and Phyt’s
On the supply chain side (raw materials, packaging, OEM/ODM, machines and equipment), more than 1,500 exhibitors have been announced, including leading players such as Cosmax, Intercos, Kolmar, HCT and Leidex..
