Soponaru commented for the first time on her dismissal from “Kvartal”

No drama, no public scandals, and no contracts torn to shreds (well, at least they didn't show us that). Just a sincere desire to breathe and change the picture.

“The decision was difficult, because I love the team very much. But I made this decision. Why is a difficult question, I can't answer it unequivocally. I want to try something different in this life,” said Iryna.

This “want to try something different” is truly the mood of my generation, when you close your laptop in the middle of the workday and go find yourself. Only here the scale is a little different, because you're leaving national television.

“So far, I've starred in a movie, this year, it will premiere in December. It's a winter film, a kind of winter fairy tale. I'm doing stand-up more actively, for now. I'm living life – it's so cool, it turns out. I go to premieres,” the actress admitted.

“Living life is so cool, it turns out.” Just give this phrase a statuette, hang it on billboards, and make it the Twitter status of every tired person.

By the way, this dismissal from “Kvartal” is not an isolated case. Along with Soponaru, the girls from “Trio Rizni” – Anastasia Orudzhova, Alina Blazhkevych, and Oleksandra Mashlyatin – left the humorous ship.

It seems like there's a tectonic shift happening in Ukrainian comedy right now, and everyone is going free to do independent projects.
