How to eat bananas properly? An etiquette expert revealed the method used by the Queen herself

William Henson, one of Britain's most famous experts on the subtleties of high society behavior, a best-selling author and TV presenter, has demonstrated on his social media how he thinks a banana should be eaten, Ukr.Media reports.

First, place the banana on a plate. Take a knife and fork. Cut the fruit at both ends, carefully cut the skin on the side and use cutlery (not your hands!) to remove it. Divide the flesh into pieces and, pricking one at a time with a fork, finally eat the banana.

Henson's unusual way of eating bananas has garnered thousands of comments, with users expressing their surprise. One user wrote: “I'm not going to do any extra dishes because of a banana, William.”

Another commenter wrote: “Dude, you insulted the entire population of the planet.” A third comment was: “I want to know how this guy eats a sandwich.”

One observer remarked, “I've traveled a bit, but I've never seen a banana served on a plate with the peel on! You need new content!”

Another person joked, “Enough, William! Stop!” Undaunted by the mixed reaction, Henson declared in the caption, “This is truly the only way to eat a banana.”

Interestingly, this is how Queen Elizabeth II ate exotic fruits, according to her former chef Darren McGrady.

It turns out that at dinners with a sophisticated crowd, this trick will still come in handy. But at other times, it's easier to eat fruit as you please, regardless of etiquette.
