Iggy Azalea shared a rare Instagram photo of her adorable 7-month-old son, Onyx, sleeping in her arms as she reflected on 2020 being the ‘greatest of my life’ because of her baby boy.
Despite all the “plot twists” she’s experienced this year, Iggy Azalea, 30, is so thankful for her little boy, Onyx, 7 months. The rapper just couldn’t help but snap a photo of her precious baby boy sleeping on a plane while snuggled up next to her. “Big kid. in spite of all its plot twists 2020 is somehow the greatest of my life so far because of onyx. I’m Thankful today & every day until I die that I have such a sweet, kind, beautiful boy,” she captioned her Instagram photo.

In the photo, Onyx is sleeping soundly in his mother’s arms. Iggy holds onto Onyx’s hand as they cuddle on the plane. Onyx has on a simple outfit of a gray shirt and light blue pants. The perfect travel outfit!

Iggy kept her entire pregnancy and birth a secret. In April 2020, reports circulated that Iggy had given birth. She didn’t confirm she had given birth until June 2020 with a message on her Instagram Story. “I have a son,” she wrote. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something, but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world. I want to keep his life private but want to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words.”
The “Fancy” rapper hasn’t posted too much of Onyx since he arrived because of her dedication to keeping his “life private.” Other than a couple of adorable photos with her son that she posted in Oct. 2020, this latest photo is only the second one Iggy has posted of Onyx on Instagram.

Iggy split from Playboi Carti, who is Onyx’s father, at the end of Oct. 2020. She revealed on her Instagram Story that she was “raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship.” Later, she clarified “Nothing I said was intended to make it seem like my son’s father isn’t part of his life, but I’ve noticed a lot of people took it that way, so I wanted to clear the air. Onyx is so loved by his dad and has always had both parents in his life from day one.”
