Supporters of Jeremy Clarkson were saddened to find out that the television host had been diagnosed with cancer of the prostate. In an episode of the fifth season of Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm, he disclosed the distressing news while conversing with Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper.

“I have cancer,” Jeremy stated plainly, to which Kaleb responded, “No, you don’t. Where?” In typical Jeremy fashion, he remarked, “The location is irrelevant to everyone. I’ve been aware since May [2026].”

While admitting he had “been away for the past week” to consult a physician and undergo a biopsy, the former Top Gear personality was officially diagnosed with a “serious” variant of the illness, but he emphasized that it was “very early days.”

“I was hoping we could complete the harvest, and then I could proceed with treatment, but it’s going to be right in the thick of it,” Jeremy commented. “I’m not unintelligent; it will be in about two weeks, perhaps three. I’ll need an operation, and then, the surgery is quick, but your body will be out of commission for a period.”

“What I wanted to convey is that if everything is successful, I’ll see you for season 6, and if not, I won’t,” he stated, before concluding, “Take care, everyone.”
