He recounted that his condition deteriorated to such an extent that medical professionals advised him to “make arrangements.” Although Billy Ray has since recuperated, he later contended with further health complications, including the inability to use his vocal cords effectively.
“I’m not entirely sure how it progressed. It was my worst fear. Two years prior, my mother had passed away in that same hospital, on the very same floor where I was,” Billy Ray shared with People.

Sepsis is a critical medical emergency that can be fatal. It arises when the body’s defense mechanisms against an infection inadvertently cause damage to its own tissues and organs.
