Captivated by “Obsession”? You’re not alone. Curry Barker‘s latest cinematic offering has swept through Hollywood and social media. For those contemplating a trip to the cinema, a key question arises: does the film feature a scene after the credits roll?
Whether you’ve already experienced the movie or are planning to, the answer to the speculation surrounding post-credits scenes is detailed below.
When to Expect “Obsession” Available for Home Viewing? Projected Streaming Date
Typically, films distributed by Focus Features make their way to Peacock for streaming. However, it may take several months before the studio confirms a streaming launch date for “Obsession.”
It’s highly probable that “Obsession” will be accessible for streaming at no additional cost towards the end of 2026.
What’s the Premise of “Obsession”?
As the title suggests, an obsession is central to the narrative. The film invites the audience to ponder who the true antagonist of the story might be.
“Obsession” centers on Baron “Bear” Bailey, who harbors a deep affection for his childhood friend and colleague, Nikki Freeman. After presenting her with a “One Wish Willow” gift, Bear utters a wish for Nikki to love him “more than anything in the f**king world,” only to witness Nikki undergo a profound transformation into someone – or something – he’s never encountered before.

The cinematic piece also delves into more nuanced themes, such as consent.
Actor Michael Johnston, portraying Bear in the film, shared insights into how he and director Barker managed to maintain the main character’s relatability and likeability, particularly given his questionable choices.
“It was vital for me not to judge him; I needed to concentrate on his most profound desires and find the human element within that,” Johnston conveyed to Luxury London following the film’s debut. “That was entirely deliberate. Curry indicated from the outset that his intention wasn’t to craft Bear as a hero. The viewers are left to determine his position on the spectrum, somewhere between a good person who faltered or the most reprehensible individual imaginable.”
Does “Obsession” Include a Post-Credits Scene?
No. Contrary to online speculation, “Obsession” does not feature any post-credits or mid-credits bonus sequences.
Who Comprises the Cast of “Obsession”?
The cast of “Obsession” is brimming with emerging talent! Indy Navarette and Johnston take on the leading roles of Nikki and Bailey, respectively. Indy is recognized for her portrayal of Sarah Cushing in “Superman & Lois,” while Michael is known for his role as Corey Bryant in “Teen Wolf.”
The ensemble cast also includes actors Cooper Tomlinson as Ian, Megan Lawless as Sarah Harper, Andy Richter as Carter Harper, Haley Fitzgerald as Viola, Darin Toonder as Harry, and director Barker himself, who plays the indifferent customer service representative for “One Wish Willow” over the phone.
