Raddix joined her renowned family at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles on December 30, 2019. She is currently five years of age. The elated new parents were transparent about their wish to shield young Raddix from the prying eyes of public attention, using Instagram to convey their intentions.
“Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are incredibly happy, fortunate, and thankful to commence this new decade by sharing the news of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has immediately captured our hearts and completed our family,” they shared in a combined statement on January 3, 2020, according to Parade.
“While we are thrilled to share this news, we also have a powerful urge to safeguard our little one’s privacy,” the declaration continued. “Therefore, we will not be posting images or divulging any further specifics, aside from the fact that she is exceptionally cute! Some might even describe her as RAD.”
Diaz also touched on the subject of having a young child later in life – she was 47 when she gave birth to Raddix. “When you’re my age and you make that decision, it’s a conscious choice,” she mentioned to Naomi Campbell during a 2020 conversation. “You really have to put in the effort. The only worry I have is that I need to live to be around 107, you know? So no pressure!”
Regarding the daily realities of parenthood, Diaz addressed this during a discussion with Kelly Clarkson. “I feel that, as a parent, my role is simply to assist her in finding the words to express her feelings, her experiences, what she’s feeling, and to be able to assist her in identifying that and navigating through it,” she clarified.
Cardinal Madden
As per People, Cardinal Madden‘s arrival was made public via Instagram on March 22, 2024. “We are blessed and thrilled to announce the arrival of our son, Cardinal Madden,” they penned in the mutual announcement, accompanied by praying and heart icons. “He is wonderful, and we are all overjoyed that he is here! For the well-being and privacy of the children, we will not be sharing any photos – but he’s truly adorable. We feel so fortunate and appreciative.”
An insider purportedly informed the publication that the Shrek star felt “lucky” to be a mother of two. “Cameron has wanted to be a mom for years,” they disclosed to the outlet. “She becomes quite emotional when discussing the lengthy journey to motherhood. She considers herself incredibly fortunate to now have two children.”

Benji shared the news of the birth of his and Cameron’s third baby, Nautas Madden, in May 2026 via Instagram.
“Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden.
