Designer Elvira Hasanova continues the tradition of large-scale shows – she showed her new couture collection in the format of a ball in the space of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. For one evening, the Academic Council Hall turned into a place where fashion took the stage.

The show took place in the format of a performance, staged by the famous director and choreographer Konstantin Gordienko. The music for the GASANOVA show was once again written by songwriter and composer Lika Bugayova, known as the leader of the Zetetics band. Thanks to the combination of movement, music and light, the fashion show turned into a complete theatrical story. The atmosphere of the evening was complemented by a DJ set by Yasyushka.
Unlike the first couture collection, which was focused on the architecture and geometry of lines, this season Elvira Hasanova demonstrated her ability to work with color. On stage, the audience saw a real explosion of bright colors – orange, pink, lime, raspberry, purple, which merged into a single cocktail during the artists' performance. The forms were diverse and imaginative: from dresses with turns and crinolines to translucent corsets and swimsuits.
“After this winter, I wanted color more than ever, because it really has a therapeutic effect, just like fashion,” says Elvira Hasanova. “And it's important not to forget to enjoy this life despite everything.”
