For his first cruise show at the helm of Chanel, Mathieu Blasy chose Biarritz, the city where Gabrielle Chanel opened her first fashion house outside of Paris in 1915. The ocean, the wind, the freedom of a resort were the main inspirations for the collection, and especially for the bags.
