Patrick Muldoon discovered affection with Miriam Rothbart almost three years prior to his passing. His sudden demise deeply affected supporters and those close to him, and, per a report, Miriam was the individual who located him before medical personnel arrived.
The pair commenced their romance around sometime in 2023. They maintained a rather discreet connection, yet Patrick didn’t avoid articulating his fondness for his companion. His earlier bond with longtime acquaintance Denise Richards garnered additional interest, however, because they reunited once more for the upcoming movie Dirty Hands, where Patrick will make a posthumous presence.
Following the dissolution of Denise and Patrick’s love affair during the late 1990s, they continued to be intimate companions, he mentioned during a late 2025 discussion on Tori Spelling‘s “misSPELLING” podcast.
“The detail about Denise and myself is that most believe we initially encountered one another on Starship Troopers, but we actually met in acting class when she was 19, and I was 21,” Patrick clarified. “Neither of us come from show business families, and our families became acquainted over the years and somewhat kept tabs on each other while navigating the strange occurrences we all confront.”
After pointing out that they were an item “sporadically in the ’90s,” Patrick emphasized that he and Denise were “very close comrades, and she’s undergoing a challenging period currently with everything.”
“I definitely wish her the best, and we’re pals,” he finalized back then.
