How to dye eggs blue? – Advice from artist and lifestyle influencer Olena Sagun
“The dyeing method is completely natural. The result is wonderful,” says Olena. “I took white and brown eggs. The former turn out blue, and the latter turn blue-gray (even an emerald undertone is possible with certain lighting). I like this shade, but if it doesn't appeal to you, just take white eggs.”
Ingredients
For 6–8 eggs:

500 g blue cabbage (about half a medium head)
1.5 liters of water
4 tbsp. l. regular table vinegar.
How to dye eggs blue: step-by-step instructions
Boil the eggs hard (11 minutes). Set aside.
Finely chop the cabbage, throw it into a saucepan, pour water, cook for an hour (during this time the water will turn purple). Turn off the stove, let the liquid with the cabbage stand for 10 minutes, then strain the broth into a separate container, throw away the cabbage. Add 4 tbsp. l. of vinegar to the liquid, mix. Put the boiled eggs in the liquid and forget about them for a few hours.

The longer the eggs are in the cabbage broth, the more saturated the blue color will be (yes, the water is purple, but the eggs will be blue). If the “sides” of the eggs peek out of the liquid, periodically turn them over with a spoon. Keep the eggs in the broth until you get the desired shade. I achieved mine in about 3 hours. You can even leave it overnight (I read, but didn't do it). ⠀
Remove the finished eggs and leave to dry on a paper towel.
