At the premiere of her new film, the long-awaited “Margot Robbie,” starring blondes Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman reminded us of one thing she's never had: hair problems.
Over the years, the actress has masterfully experimented with shades of blonde, brunette, and red (who can forget that daring color from the Moulin Rouge era?), but her latest transformation didn't require a visit to the colorist; instead, the star opted for the ever-stylish and practical curtain bangs.

How to wear voluminous curtain bangs
“If done right, bangs like this suit everyone,” hairstylist Mark Townsend, the creator of Dakota Johnson's legendary haircut, told Vogue. “It suits any face shape and hair texture.”

Kidman's new look is a natural evolution of the shorter, rounder bangs she debuted at the Chanel show last October. In preparation for the evening out, Nicole called on her longtime hairstylist Adir Abergel. The rest of the team was made up of makeup artist Mary Wiles and stylist Jason Bolden, who dressed the star in Schiaparelli.

If you're considering cutting your bangs, be sure to keep this look. Kidman and Abergel are a true master class in how to gracefully navigate the infamous growing-out period. What's next? Maybe U-shaped bangs.
