‘The Voice’ Champs: What Are They Doing Now? Current Status of Select Victors

Over the years, The Voice has presented a vast spectrum of gifted people! In addition, the panel of judges has evolved, showcasing prominent personalities such as Blake SheltonKelly ClarksonJohn Legend, and Nick Jonas.

The Voice rapidly became a cherished program for fans when it initially premiered in April of 2011, awarding Javier Colon as its inaugural champion, with coach Adam Levine supporting him. Since claiming victory, Javier has launched two studio albums, establishing himself as just one of the champions who has progressed to forge a route within the music sphere. We’re reflecting on the other victors and their current endeavors!

Adam David from Team Bublé emerged as the season 27 victor of the program, maintaining an engaged schedule throughout 2025 following his noteworthy triumph. Adam secured various performance opportunities leading up to the culmination of that annum, notably performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Florida’s “Stars and Strings” event.

In more recent times, Season 28’s champion Aiden Ross succeeded, capturing the title in 2025. Subsequently, in 2026, Alexia Jayy emerged victorious in Season 29 as a member of Team Adam Levine, achieving a milestone as the first Black female victor of The Voice.

In 2023, the season 24 victor was revealed to be Huntley, a competitor under Niall Horan‘s guidance, while the preceding victors comprised Gina Miles from season 23, Bryce Leatherwood from season 22, Girl Named Tom from season 21, and Cam Anthony from season 20.

Season 19 culminated with Carter Rubin receiving the designation as the latest champion of The Voice under the mentorship of coach Gwen Stefani. Carter distinguished himself as the youngest male victor of the program, achieving this feat at a mere 15 years of age. During an exclusive conversation between Hollywood Life and Carter post his notable triumph, he disclosed his early contemplation of “potential albums.” He also expressed, “I am actively developing a few songs, and I aspire to enter a recording studio one day to document them. Upon the cessation of COVID, I am eager to perform for a physical audience.” Furthermore, he communicated his future aspirations of pursuing acting endeavors.

“If I were to grace Broadway, I would find no cause for complaint. I hold genuine affection for both theater and acting on the whole. The prospect of featuring in a film in the future would fulfill a significant aspiration of mine,” Carter conveyed to Hollywood Life.

Todd Tilghman from Team Blake secured the title of season 18 champion of the program. His announcement as the victor occurred virtually in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Todd recently launched his latest single, entitled “In A Heartache,” on Valentine’s Day.

Season 17 champion Jake Hoot still has a considerable duration to expand upon his achievements since his win in season 17 of The Voice. With the encouragement of his coach, Kelly, the crooner achieved victory and has since been prepared to proactively pursue his own musical ventures. He recently unveiled his new single, “I Would’ve Loved You,” which features Kelly! The music video accompanying the song was released in February 2021. Furthermore, Jake introduced his EP, Love Out Of Time, in January 2021.

Despite the show boasting over 20 victors, it is truly remarkable to observe the profound degree of transformation they have undergone! Progressing from laboring in relative obscurity while upholding their aspirations to attaining soaring levels of recognition, we are eager to discover the future trajectories of these champions! Yet, the catalog of talent is substantial, with many more individuals originating from similar backgrounds.
