The House of the Spirits, representing the initial Spanish-language adaptation of Allende’s work, is an eight-part series spanning five decades and centering on three generations of women: Clara, Blanca, and Alba. As per Amazon MGM Studios, the program unfolds in a “conservative South American country influenced by class divisions, political turbulence, and enchantment.”
