The erstwhile Orange Is the New Black performer generated buzz with her casting, sparking widespread curiosity among admirers regarding the identity of her character in the series.
Following the Los Angeles, California, red carpet event in April, Natasha’s name circulated online because of an unfortunate incident. According to Page Six reports, the American Pie figure was removed from a Delta Airlines plane for allegedly being unresponsive when flight personnel requested she close her device and buckle her safety belt prior to takeoff. As the actress seemed to “doze off,” her computer was seized, the news source mentioned, and a Delta employee boarded the aircraft eventually to inquire, “Ma’am, do you require medical assistance?”
At one juncture, the staff member communicated, “Ma’am, I need you to exit the aircraft. Do you require assistance with your belongings?” Natasha was allegedly overheard questioning, “Where are we?” before the staff member informed her, “We’re still in LA. The aircraft hasn’t departed. … The aircraft will not leave until you disembark.”
After Natasha was guided off the aircraft, passengers overheard the captain announcing, “We have a passenger who, for any number of reasons… did not comply with simple instructions… We had a passenger who didn’t appear ready for the flight tonight, so that’s the justification for them being asked to reschedule their flight—I sincerely regret the inconvenience, but rest assured we will transport you to New York with utmost speed and safety.”
Natasha apparently acknowledged the occurrence in a post on X on April 9, 2026, sharing, in part, “I was definitely eager to have an honest discussion with @DrewBarrymore yesterday, but it appears it wasn’t meant to be,” she posted, before questioning, “Who currently owns Page Six/New York Post?”
