Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke have revealed their separation after being married for four years. The pair, most prominently known from the Bravo unscripted TV program, Summer House, stated that their split happened “after considerable thought” and maintained that their impending divorce is friendly. Thus, what prompted their breakup?

When Did Kyle Cooke & Amanda Batula Begin a Relationship?
Kyle and Amanda started going out in 2015, but their relationship took a more committed turn in 2017, as they made their romance known to the Summer House viewing audience.
What Caused Amanda & Kyle to Separate?
Kyle and Amanda didn’t give a specific explanation for their separation, but they mentioned in their shared official announcement that it followed “much reflection.”

“Following considerable deliberation, we have jointly and harmoniously decided to go our separate ways as a couple,” the now-estranged couple penned. “We are sharing this news with a heavy heart and respectfully request your understanding and backing as we concentrate on our individual development and recuperation.”
Kyle and Amanda continued, “It feels paradoxical to seek privacy at this moment given that we’ve consistently strived to be transparent and sincere regarding our relationship, but your compassion and regard will greatly assist us as we attempt to navigate our next phase.”
The two have undergone many high and low moments in their relationship, though. Hence, it’s not entirely unexpected that they chose to separate.
Did Kyle Commit Infidelity Against Amanda?
Indeed, Kyle has acknowledged cheating on Amanda numerous times in the past, but they didn’t bring it up in their separation declaration.
Previously, Kyle was honest about being unfaithful to Amanda in 2017 and 2018, three years into their relationship.
Do Amanda & Kyle Have Offspring?
No, Amanda and Kyle do not have any children together, although they have publicly addressed the subject. Throughout the 9th season of Summer House, the two appeared to be at odds regarding the possibility of having children. Kyle voiced worries about reproductive challenges, but Amanda was more consoling, stating that not having children “wouldn’t be the end of the world.”
Despite the dispute, Amanda clarified during the Summer House reunion in April 2025 that she was “prepared to have children with someone who’s prepared to have children.” Kyle later commented that they would “find it difficult” to discuss this matter.
Adding even more to the tension, Amanda confessed at the 2025 reunion that she had “one foot out” of her relationship with Kyle before their connection improved later that year.
